Rishikesh is promoted by Uttarakhand Tourism for its Himalayan foothill setting, Ganga, yoga and adventure activities; the package must still state exactly which experience is included and who operates it.
Stay and transport
Check the property name or category, room occupancy, meal plan, check-in rules, pickup point, vehicle type and transfer limits. ‘Hotel included’ is not enough if the location, room type or transfer distance is unclear.
Activities need their own line items
For rafting, ask for the starting point, route, grade, operator, age or fitness requirements, safety briefing, equipment and weather cancellation process. The official tourism rafting package describes corridors such as Kaudiyala and Shivpuri and lists grade/rapids information, but an offer’s date, operator and price must be rechecked.
